Salpicón is a fruit cocktail with the vibrant colors of tropical produce. My salpicón recipe swaps the usual soft drink with a stevia-sweetened version, called Zevia, which gives a delightful fizz without the sugar.
Most fruits have no cholesterol and are low in fat, sodium, and calories. This makes fruit a great choice for anyone looking to reduce their blood pressure and their risk of heart disease or stroke.
Kids love this sweet treat, and it’s such a simple recipe that kids can often assist with its assembly. Kids from ages two to eight should eat one to two cups of fruit per day
This recipe comes together in minutes, and it pairs beautifully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you’re looking to indulge a bit more!
